Place de Lévis

Place de Lévis is a small plaza in the seventeenth arrondissement of Paris, identifiable by the presence of a traditional Wallace fountain and its position at the intersection of Rue Legendre and Rue de Lévis. Created in eighteen fifty-three, this site once marked the entrance to the Château de Monceau and served as the central square for the old village of Monceau. The plaza takes its name from the nearby street, which honors a local landowner.
