Église Saint-Aubin de Toulouse

religious

The Église Saint-Aubin is a massive structure that rises above the neighborhood without a bell tower. Stretching one hundred meters long and thirty-two meters wide, it stands as the largest religious construction project undertaken in Toulouse during the nineteenth century. The building rests upon a base of crypts, a necessity arising from its location on the site of a former cemetery that operated between seventeen eighty and eighteen forty.
