Wilhelmsplatz

Wilhelmsplatz is the central square of the Weststadt district in Heidelberg, framed by Kaiserstraße to the north, Wilhelmstraße to the south, and Kleinschmidtstraße to the west. The city purchased the land for the square for fifty-eight thousand four hundred eighty Reichsmarks on April fourth, eighteen sixty-one, as part of a larger plan to develop this area following the arrival of the railway.
