The Kurpfälzisches Museum occupies the Palais Morass, a baroque mansion distinguished by its bright red facade along the Hauptstraße. This building, constructed in seventeen twelve for the university rector Johann Philipp von Morass, now houses an extensive collection dedicated to the art and archaeology of the Electoral Palatinate region.
