Brückenaffe

The Brückenaffe, or Bridge Monkey, is a bronze sculpture situated at the city-side entrance of the Old Bridge. Created by the sculptor Gernot Rumpf and installed in nineteen seventy-nine, the figure holds a mirror in its paws. A pair of small bronze mice sit on the stones beside the main figure to complete the composition.
