Groove Attack occupies a basement level on Maastrichter Straße, hidden beneath a menswear shop called Monsieur Courbet. This space holds a position as the oldest record store in Cologne, operating in the city since nineteen ninety-two. It began its life in Wuppertal two years earlier as an offshoot of a local music club before relocating to the Belgian Quarter.
