The Kulturzentrum Scheune is a two-story building in the Äußere Neustadt district, easily identified by its light-colored, sandstone-plaster facade built in the style of socialist classicism. First opened on December twenty-first, nineteen fifty-one, the facility was originally constructed as the Martin Andersen Nexö Youth Club for the Free German Youth organization.
