Museum of Dresden Romanticism

The Museum of Dresden Romanticism occupies the Kügelgenhaus, a late baroque townhouse built between sixteen ninety-seven and sixteen ninety-nine. You can identify the building by the inscription beneath its roof cornice, which reads, "Everything depends on God's blessing." Since around seventeen thirty, the house has been known by that phrase, or Gottessegen, in honor of the sentiment carved into its facade.
