The Königpassage sits within Dresden’s Baroque Quarter, tucked behind the historic façades of the Innere Neustadt. This area of the city, known as the New Royal City, was commissioned in seventeen thirty-one as part of a massive development project ordered by the Saxon rulers. Architects working under strict building regulations created a series of harmonious townhouses here to display the wealth and cultural sophistication of the residence.
