J. N. Petit Library

The J. N. Petit Library is defined by its polychromatic limestone exterior and its distinctive Venetian Gothic design. As a Grade Two heritage structure, the building stands along Dadabhai Naoroji Road, housing a collection that exceeds one hundred and fifty thousand books. Among these items is a rare copy of the eleventh-century epic poem Shahnameh by the Persian poet Ferdowsi, which is illustrated with gold leaf.
