The Indian Museum is a massive, three-story Neoclassical structure marked by its long, regimented rows of white pillars and grand colonnades. Established in eighteen fourteen by the Asiatic Society of Bengal, it holds the distinction of being the oldest and largest multipurpose museum in the Asia-Pacific region.
