Confectionery Jafar, or Jafar Sweets, is a confectionery shop located in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. Mohammad Jafar opened the business in nineteen fifty-one, and it has since become a destination for Levantine pastries. The shop is specifically known for its kanafeh, a warm, neon-orange cheese pastry soaked in sugar syrup and topped with crushed green pistachios.
