Amalfi Lemon Experience

The Amalfi Lemon Experience is defined by the steep, terraced groves that climb the hillsides above Amalfi, where trees are shielded by traditional green and black nets to protect them from the winter weather. This site is managed by the Aceto family, who have cultivated citrus in these valleys for six generations. The family's history with the land traces back to eighteen twenty-five, when an ancestor named Salvatore Aceto purchased his first plot of land to begin producing and trading the local Sfusato amalfitano, a variety of lemon prized for its large size, thick skin, and sweetness.
