Hotel Luna Convento

The Hotel Luna Convento sits on a rocky promontory overlooking the Bay of Amalfi, easily identified by the ancient Saracen watchtower that rises above the water’s edge. This building began its life as a Franciscan monastery founded in twelve twenty-two by Saint Francis of Assisi himself. The central cloister, with its distinctive Moorish arches, remains the heart of the complex and is still used today as a courtyard garden.
