Immeuble Assayag 1930 Marius Boyer

The Immeuble Assayag on Boulevard Hassan Sghir is defined by its three distinct towers, which rise side by side before merging into a single volume at the seventh floor. Designed by the French architect Marius Boyer and built between nineteen thirty and nineteen thirty-two, this ten-level structure was an avant-garde response to urban growth. Authorities at the time were eager to connect the port and business districts, encouraging developers to build vertically. Boyer answered this by creating a residential complex that prioritized air and daylight, intentionally separating the three blocks with narrow gaps to maximize light exposure for every apartment.
