Kasbah Cherarda is a vast, rectangular fortification measuring four hundred by five hundred and fifty meters, sitting on the northern outskirts of Fes el-Jdid. You can identify the site by its expansive, high ramparts that stretch across the landscape, distinguishing the area from the tighter, more densely packed quarters of the city nearby.
