Hotel Continental

The Hotel Continental is identifiable by its traditional Moroccan architecture and its position overlooking the harbor. Built in eighteen seventy, it stands as one of the oldest hotels in Tangier. The building features intricate zellij mosaic tile work and detailed plaster carvings, reflecting a design that blends Moroccan and European styles. Originally constructed as a private residence, it was converted into a hotel about a decade later and became a notable landmark in the city's medina.
