Kanonicza

Kanonicza Street is marked by a distinctive, irregular curve that leads directly toward the foot of Wawel Castle. As one of the oldest streets in Kraków, it is lined with Renaissance and Baroque townhouses that feature ornate stone portals and intricate sgraffito facades. These buildings, dating back to the fourteenth century, were originally constructed to house the canons of the Wawel Cathedral.
