St. Mary's Basilica

St. Mary's Basilica is defined by two towers of unequal height that rise above the northeast corner of Kraków's Main Market Square. This brick Gothic church, constructed in its current form during the fourteenth century, draws visitors to its interior to see the massive wooden altarpiece carved by Veit Stoss between fourteen seventy-seven and fourteen eighty-nine.
