The Collegium Nowodworskiego is a long, historic building situated on Saint Anne Street, defined by a distinct, cobbled courtyard surrounded on three sides by covered cloisters. Built between sixteen thirty-six and sixteen forty-three, this site originally housed a secondary school funded by the Polish knight and philanthropist Bartłomiej Nowodworski. His substantial donations allowed the Jagiellonian University to construct this space for its students, and the structure features a blend of Baroque and Mannerist styles with architectural echoes of the nearby university buildings.
