Estatua Don Ramón María del Valle-Inclán

The bronze figure of writer Ramón María del Valle-Inclán sits quietly on a park bench, distinguishable by the glasses perched on his face and his intent gaze fixed toward the spires of the Cathedral. Installed in January nineteen ninety-nine, this work by the sculptor César Lombera occupies the Paseo de los Leones within the Alameda park. The statue rests in the same spot where the author famously sat to watch the city during his final years in Santiago de Compostela.
