Museum of Pilgrimage

The Museum of Pilgrimage and Santiago sits in the Praza das Praterias, occupying the former Bank of Spain building. This structure, designed in nineteen thirty-nine by the architect Romualdo Madariaga Céspedes, was renovated between two thousand nine and two thousand twelve to hold collections that trace the history of Santiago de Compostela as a destination.
