"A Case History" by John King

A Case History, created by artist John King and completed in nineteen ninety-eight, consists of twenty-seven suitcases and two guitar cases cast in concrete. The sculpture rests on the pavement at the intersection of Hope Street and Mount Street, near the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. This site formerly held the Liverpool Institute High School for Boys.
