The Globe

The Globe on Cases Street is identifiable by its exterior Dutch gable, which holds a blue globe sculpture and the date eighteen eighty-eight in gold lettering. This building sits on the site of a public house that existed under the same name at least forty years before the current structure was completed. It was designed as a small hotel and remains known for a floor that slopes noticeably from the rear lounge toward the front door.
