The Tenement House (National Trust for Scotland)

The Tenement House is a red sandstone building at one hundred forty-five Buccleuch Street, distinguishable from its neighbors by its role as a historic house museum. Built in eighteen ninety-two, this structure represents a middle-class tenement typical of Glasgow’s rapid industrial expansion. Inside, the first-floor flat remains frozen in time, preserving the original parlor, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom exactly as they existed during the early twentieth century.
