Ramshorn Graveyard

Ramshorn Graveyard is a historic burial ground on Ingram Street that dates back to seventeen nineteen, predating the city's better-known Glasgow Necropolis by more than a century. It is defined by its collection of wall monuments and flat stone slabs, many of which were moved to the perimeter during a twentieth-century remodeling to create an open space. This ground served as the burial site of choice for Glasgow's eighteenth-century elite, including influential tobacco merchants and figures like David Dale, the industrialist who founded New Lanark.
