St George's Mansions stands at the junction of St George's Road and Woodlands Road as a prominent example of Edwardian Baroque tenement architecture. Built between nineteen hundred and nineteen hundred and one under the City Improvement Trust Scheme, the structure was designed by architects Frank Burnet and William John Boston. It is characterized by its polished red ashlar stone, steep French roofs, and corner turrets topped with lead ogee-dome roofs.
