Guardians of the City Museum & Safety Learning Center

The Guardians of the City Museum and Safety Learning Center, located at six hundred fifty-five Presidio Avenue, houses a collection dedicated to the history of San Francisco’s fire, police, sheriff, and emergency medical departments. The non-profit organization known as Guardians of the City manages the site, which grew out of a desire to preserve the heritage of local public safety services that dates back to the mid-nineteenth century.
