Marshall's Beach is a narrow, rocky shoreline set against the base of steep coastal bluffs just north of Baker Beach. It is recognized by the blue-green serpentine rock formations protruding from the cliffs and its position directly in the shadow of the Golden Gate Bridge. The beach is accessible only by foot via the Batteries to Bluffs Trail, which requires navigating winding paths and stairways down from the heights above.
