The Art Wall on Valencia Street is a fixture of the Mission District, occupying a prominent outdoor space between twenty-third and twenty-fourth streets. This site was once the city’s police station before being purchased in nineteen ninety-six by architect Bruce Tomb, who converted the building into his home and studio.
