Potrero del Sol Community Garden

Potrero del Sol Community Garden occupies a corner of a four-point-five-acre park where concrete and chain-link fencing meet the green space of the Mission District. While today it provides plots for residents to grow flowers and vegetables, the site holds a history that dates back to nineteen seventy-four, when artists and activists transformed an abandoned milk factory into a communal space called The Farm.
