The Presidio Theatre at ninety-nine Moraga Avenue is a two-story building defined by its Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, featuring wide arches and flat stucco surfaces. Built in nineteen thirty-nine with funding from the Works Progress Administration, it served as the primary entertainment hub for military personnel and their families stationed at the Presidio. For over fifty years, the theater screened films and hosted various community events.
