Torpedo Wharf

Torpedo Wharf is an L-shaped pier that extends four hundred and thirty-seven feet into the mouth of the San Francisco Bay, situated just east of the stone walls of Fort Point. Its name points to its original purpose, as it was established as a submarine mine depot for the United States Army between nineteen oh seven and nineteen oh nine.
