Chatham County Superior Court

The Chatham County Superior Court operates from a modern six-story structure of buff-colored stone and concrete known as the J. Tom Coleman Courthouse. Located at one hundred thirty-three Montgomery Street, this building has housed judicial functions since it was completed in nineteen seventy-eight. Its design features narrow horizontal windows and a recessed entrance on the first floor, standing as a stark contrast to the city's older, nineteenth-century civic architecture.
