Gryphon

The Gryphon tea room occupies the street level of a distinctive nineteen twenty-three Scottish Rite Masonic building on the corner of Madison Square. Its name comes from an antique mahogany clock mounted above a bookcase inside, which features carved griffins on either side. This clock has the local distinction of being the first electric clock ever installed in Savannah.
