Clark Hall stands out for its deep red brick facade and its history as the administrative heart of the Central of Georgia Railway. Originally built in eighteen eighty-seven, this four-story structure was designed by the architect Alfred Salom Eichberg to house the clerical staff of the railroad. It is a central piece of a larger complex that includes neighboring railway sheds constructed of Savannah grey brick as early as eighteen fifty-nine.
