Christopher Park

Christopher Park is defined by a heavy iron fence that has enclosed its triangular grounds for over one hundred and thirty years. This small space, measuring less than one-seventh of an acre, emerged in eighteen thirty-seven after a massive fire ravaged the tenements that once stood on this corner. It takes its name from Charles Christopher Amos, an heir to a local estate who also gave his name to the surrounding street.
