The Warhol Lofts

You can identify the Warhol Lofts on Edison Street by the mural of a bright yellow banana painted on the building’s exterior. This artwork references the cover of the nineteen sixty-seven debut album by The Velvet Underground, an art rock band managed by Andy Warhol. The building itself dates to eighteen ninety-six and originally operated as a printing house before being converted into these modern residential units.
