The Elizabeth Street Pier reaches out into Sullivans Cove as the last remaining major finger wharf in Hobart. Its long, shed-like silhouette preserves the industrial scale of the nineteen thirties, when it was constructed as the heart of Tasmania’s booming apple export trade.
