The Treasury Building Complex is a collection of eight interconnected civic buildings defined by their uniform, locally quarried sandstone facades. Occupying a central city block bounded by Murray, Macquarie, and Davey streets, this site has stood as the administrative core of Tasmania since the early nineteenth century.
