Harper's Buildings

Harper's Buildings, located at eight ten to eight twenty-four Hay Street, draws the eye with its asymmetrical brick facade and a distinctively stepped skyline. Designed by architects Edwin and Reginald Summerhayes in nineteen thirty-seven, the building is a recognized example of Inter-War Functionalist style. Its exterior features colorful brick panels, long horizontal bands, and metal-framed ribbon windows that set it apart from neighboring structures.
