The Bell Tower, also known as the Swan Bell Tower, rises eighty-two point five meters above Barrack Square as a distinctive glass and copper spire. Its external copper-clad sails are designed to evoke the nearby Swan River and the mining history of Western Australia. The tower was constructed to house a set of eighteenth-century bells from the church of Saint Martin-in-the-Fields in London.
