Urban Orchard

The Urban Orchard in the Perth Cultural Centre sits atop a flat, concrete surface that was once a neglected rooftop car park. This community garden features eighteen planter beds filled with organic vegetables, herbs, and fruit trees, creating a green oasis within the dense city landscape. The space is easily identified by these raised garden boxes, which are constructed from recycled materials and filled with seasonal marigolds, tomato plants, and olive trees.
