Stastny-Bürsten

Stastny-Bürsten is a small storefront located in the arcades—or Lauben—directly beneath the Goldenes Dachl in Innsbruck’s old town. This shop has operated at this address since nineteen thirty-eight, when the family first rented the space behind an existing brush stall to expand their retail offerings. Today, the business is managed by the sixth generation of the family, continuing a trade that began in the city in eighteen eighty-six when Julius Waurisch opened a brush-making workshop nearby.
