This establishment holds the distinction of being the oldest ice cream parlor in Brazil still in continuous operation, having opened its doors in nineteen thirty. Its founding coincided with the reinauguration of the Lacerda elevator, and the brand was established by a Cuban exile who introduced Salvador to international staples like milkshakes and banana splits.
