The Suncor Energy Centre is a two-tower complex in downtown Calgary easily identified by its reflective glass curtain walls and distinct exterior of red granite. Completed in nineteen eighty-four, the complex consists of a thirty-two-story east tower and a fifty-two-story west tower. The west tower, reaching two hundred and fifteen meters, stood as the tallest free-standing structure in Calgary for over twenty-five years until the completion of The Bow in twenty-ten.
