Barrymores Music Hall occupies a space on Bank Street that still hides the Beaux-Arts features of the Imperial Theatre, which opened here in nineteen fourteen. Though the street-level entrance now looks different, the auditorium upstairs retains much of its original character, including dusty art deco patterns and flower motifs tucked away in the shadows of the old balcony area.
