La Librairie du Square is a small, long-standing bookstore located on rue Saint-Denis, near the historic Square Saint-Louis. Founded in nineteen eighty-five by Françoise Careil, the shop earned a reputation over three decades as a gathering place for local writers, artists, and intellectuals. Notable figures such as poet Gaston Miron and novelist Michel Tremblay were among the regulars who frequented the shelves.
