The Promenade of Split Olympians, known locally as the West Coast or Zapadna obala, follows the seaside path extending westward from the city’s historic core. This walkway is defined by a series of bronze plaques embedded directly into the ground, each inscribed with the name of an athlete from Split who has won an Olympic medal.
