The Ivar Huitfeldt Memorial is a nineteen-meter-tall marble column topped by a bronze statue of the Roman goddess Victoria. Located on the Langelinie waterfront, this monument honors Admiral Ivar Huitfeldt and the four hundred and ninety-seven crew members who died when their ship, the Dannebroge, exploded during the Battle of Køge Bay in seventeen ten.
